HEXKOTE Specialty Series is designed for a wide range of applications and materials, utilizing Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) for its exceptional lubricant properties. MoS2 is ideal for several industrial applications, including aerospace, automotive, machine tools, and medical device components.  It excels in firearm applications for fine tuning feed ramps, bores, bolts, slides, or as a bore treatment.  With a high melting point and low thermal expansion, MoS2 is suitable for high-temperature uses and resists oxidation and corrosion, making it effective in high-humidity and salt-water environments.
